The challenge
G Adventures and the Planeterra foundation wanted to give back to the world by funding a special humanitarian project that was pitched and submitted via a new, dedicated website. My task was to design an easy-to-use site where people would pitch and submit their idea before the submission deadline. Then, a panel of famous judges voted on their favorite ideas that would move on to the final round.
Submissions were split between 4 different categories, and the finalists from each category joined the company founder Bruce Poon-Tip in Costa Rica to present their pitch. Bruce would then select the idea he saw as being the most impactful, and the project would receive $25,000CAD in funding.
My role in this project was to design the look and feel of this website.
The judges included Jane Goodall, Tony Wheeler, Les Stroud, and more!
This was a very exciting project to be working on for an important cause.
